 The 7500t is a self-propelled vessel equipped with 360º revolving crane. It is capable of navigating in unlimited area, and is capable of operating in designated area.
The revolving crane is located at the stern of the vessel, with 7500t capacity at 45m when the jib is fixed towards stern, and 4000t at 40m when crane is revolving. The major function of the floating crane is for bridge lifting and ocean engineering works. The crane has the biggest single lift capacity in the world.
The main hook of two prongs, and there are two main hooks on the crane, each with 3750tⅹ2 rated load. Maximum lifting height above water level is 110m. With7500t rated load, the working radius is 45m, and 16m outboard (With 7000t,the working radius is 49m,and 20m outboard). The average lifting speed is 1.25m/min with rated load, and 10m/min with empty hook. Slewing speed is 0.12 circle/min. An auxiliary hook of four prongs is provided, with 1600t capacity.
The crane jib is of lattice type, and welded with high-strength steel, and the tub is of double-layer cylindrical type. The bottom of the tub is connected to the hull, and the top of the tub is equipped with roller ways and rollers. The tub is 35m in diameter, and the rollers are lined in four-row.
A PLC device is provided on the crane. Different control logic, interlock logic and electric protection can be achieved via programming, according to specific requirements.

Ten Characteristics of 7500t Full Revolving Floating Crane:
ⅰ.The floating crane is self propelled up to 11kn. One set bow thrust and one set stern thrust are equipped for easy turning of the vessel.
ⅱ.Truss type boom is fabricated with 80kg steel plate, with the yield strength is 685Mpa.
ⅲ.The tub is of double-layer configuration, with 35m diameter. Four rows of rollers are used for equal load distribution. Fine machining of rail bearing surface and rubber pads are used to ensure the equal load distribution. Full complement rollers are used for withstanding huge overturning moment.
ⅳ. Fully enclosed reducers are used for major winches. Multilayer drums are used with maximum layer number up to 11.Hoist speed is controlled electrically, and mechanical gear shift is provided as well to increase the speed when no load under hook.
ⅴ.When hoisting 7500t in fixed mode over the stern, jack and tie down are set up to reduce the load on rollers and vessel as well.
ⅵ.Two main hooks are of two prongs , and capacity of each hook is 3750 t , the hook and shaft are independent with each other ; the bearing is located at the lower part of the hook.
ⅶ.The auxiliary hook is of four prongs, and is capable of working 150m under water. Stainless steel bearing is used for corrosion resisting.
ⅷ.Tugger winches are provided to prevent hooks from swinging when crane in operation in open water.
ⅸ.Accommodation for 300 persons is provided, and helicopter platform is provided as well.
ⅹ.Rated tension of the working anchors is 110t; length of rope on drum is 2600m .Winches , are variable frequency controlled , which is suitable for different working condition.
